Partnerships
- Our school elected an Active School committee that has helped with running our Active School FLag challenges as well as encouraging our whole school community to be more active.
- Active School Slogan: Our school voted on the following for our Active School slogan -
- Calry / St Josephs GAA club: Brían GAA coaching
- Sligo Sports and Recreation Partnership: Our Active Flag committee contacted the Sligo Sports and Recreation partnership to see what support they could give our school. Kate Garvin Community Sports Development Officer gave details of Youth Sport West Programmes and Ag Sugradh le Cheile workshops.
- Ag Súgradh le Chéile: Along with Sligo Sports and Recreation Partnership our school ran the Ag Súgradh le Chéile Workshop for Junior Infants and their parents on 23rd October 2024. The adults and children enjoyed an afternoon of playing a variety of new games together including ball games, traditional games and tag games.

- “What Clubs are you in” survey:
- Achievements Board: There is time given to the children in our school to talk about their sporting achievements and show their medals and trophies each month at our whole-school assembly. Sporting achievements are displayed through photos on our “Achievements” notice board.
