Welcome

Dia daobh. Cuirim fáilte is fiche roimh chách chuig Scoil Phádraig Náofa, Cálraí. Bainigí sult as an suíomh gréasáin seo.

A very warm welcome to St. Patrick’s NS website. We are delighted that you have taken the time to visit us online.

St. Patrick’s National School is a co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Elphin. Our students begin their educational journey with us here in junior infants and graduate when they complete 6th class. We are privileged to be part of that journey, celebrating each child’s unique talents, skills and achievements and we are always blessed with energetic, motivated and fun loving children.

Our staff are very committed, passionate and enthusiastic about education. We have a track record of achieving high standards and strive to provide the best possible outcomes for all the children in our care so that they can reach their full potential. We appreciate that each child’s educational journey is unique and therefore we tailor the learning environment to respond to individual needs. We believe in early intervention, working in partnership with parents and outside agencies to cater effectively for the needs of the child.

As you will see from our website and Facebook page, we believe in varied and broad learning experiences and we provide many opportunities for extracurricular activities as well as opportunities to apply skills learned within the classroom in the context of real-life situations.

We pride ourselves on a happy, respectful and safe learning environment that is child focused, engaging and active. We endeavour to develop the confidence and self-esteem of each individual child while also encouraging a culture that places importance on gratitude and appreciation.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is mise, le meas,

David Gallagher
